The Vietnam National Coffee Corporation (Vinacafe) established by Prime Minister’s decision No.251/TTg dated 29 April 1995 is the biggest state owned corporation specializing in coffee producing, processing, exporting in Vietnam, and carrying out general business operations.

Vinacafe is a corporation with the state with 100% capital of the State and is the largest member of the Association of coffee and cacao Vietnam. This is a large business, with up to 56 companies, enterprises and agricultural fields. Vinacafe annual export volume to a 20 - 25% of coffee production in the country.

Vinacafe produces 50,000 tons of coffee beans and export 250,000 - 300,000 tons of coffee beans per year, mostly Robusta to more than 30 countries and territories including U.S.A, Germany,U.K, France, Japan, Switzerland,Netherlands, Hungary...and highly appreciated by the customers worldwide. Annual import-export turnover reaches USD 350-400 millions and accounts for 20-24 % of total Vietnam coffee beans exports.

Beside coffee beans as our main commodity we also export other agricultural products such as: pepper, cashew nuts .., import fertilizers and facilities for the coffee industry. Vietnam has promoted the exportation of such high value products as roasted beans, ground coffee, instant coffee. Today, when talking about coffee in Vietnam, VINACAFE is the name of the first to consider.
