- Formerly Pham Van Coi 2 New Economic Zone, founded in 1975.

- After the period of land reclamation of the ancient resistance zone (Ho Bo sanctuary), it became the Pham Van Coi 2 Farm in 1977, later renamed Cha Do State Farm, then An Phu State Farm.

- From 1987, it became the Ho Chi Minh City Dairy Cattle Company (DCC) under HCMC Department of Agriculture, by Decision No 63/QD-UB dated 26/10/1992 by Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee. Is an affiliate of Saigon Agricultural Corporation from December 1996.

- Early 2004, in order to increase resources, the Pham Van Coi Farm was merged into DCC, by Decision No 1150/QD-UB, dated 18/3/2004 by Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.

- By Decision No 4142/QD-UBND dated 13/9/2007, Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee rules the conversion of DCC into Ho Chi Minh City Dairy Cattle One- Member Company Limited –

- International transaction name: Ho Chi Minh City Dairy Cattle Company Limited– Abbreviation: HCMDC Co., Ltd.

- The Company is under restructuration, in conformity with the new statute (Membership Council)

It manages (2007):

- over 3.700 cows of various breeds;

- About 2.000 meat goats;

- 3.592 ha of agricultural land, of which: rubber trees: 2.876 ha, pasture: 470 ha;

- 1.290 workers for animal rearing, rubber tapping and processing; insemination service; planting of short-term plants, orchids, ornamental plants.
