Aquatic exports are expected to fetch up to US$1.84 billion in Q3, posting a year-on-year increase of 7%, according to the Viet Nam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP)

Aquatic exports would hit over US$4.7 billion in the first nine months and fulfill the goal of US$6.5 billion for the whole year.
VASEP predicted that seafood export would earn around US$675 million, accounting for 36.6% of the total revenue; tuna export, US$175 million; poulp, US$165 million; crabs and crustacean, US$35 million; and fish, US$275 million.
The US continues to be Vietnam’s biggest export market. Potential markets include the Republic of Korea, Australia, Mexico, ASEAN and China./.
