The second International Comics Festival officially opened in the Vietnamese capital city of Hanoi on May 30.
The first Belgian-Vietnamese Comics Festival held in Hanoi last year
Co-organised by the Wallonie-Brussels delegation, the Canadian Embassy in Vietnam and local relevant agencies, the festival includes exhibitions of a famous Belgian comic strip “Spirou” and the images of the cat in comics by the Kim Dong Publishing House.
As part of the six-day event, there will be a seminar discussing comics publication and exchanges between comics authors and lecturers from Belgium and Canada, and Vietnamese authors and painters
