A plan to develop a database on the nation's human resources that aims to help forecast demand for workers in various sectors has been approved by the Prime Minister in Decision 601/QD-TTg.
The plan aims to offer information and forecasts about human resources at national and provincial levels, divided by sectors and expertise to help the Government, ministries, State agencies and enterprises in drafting plans and policies on human resources training and investment.
Work on the plan will start this year and is expected to by complete by 2013-14, with the database up and running by 2015.
The database will use information from the General Statistics Office and the National Centre for Labour Market Information and Forecast, as well as statistics from international organisations and data from ministries and State agencies at central and provincial levels.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment will be chiefly responsible for collecting the data from relevant agencies.
