Dr. Doan Thi Kim Hong has just been awarded the 'First Mrs. World' title, the first of its kind to be awarded by the Mrs. World Organisation.

Mrs. World Organisation Chairman David Z. Marmel made the announcement, saying Hong had received the title after her work for the organisation and Vietnam in recent years.
Hong is currently the Vice Chairwoman of Mrs. World Organisation in the Asia and Pacific region.
Hong also won the title of Mrs. Congeniality at the Mrs World 2005 Pageant in India.
She was on the judging panel for Mrs. World 2008 in Russia, Mrs. World 2011 in US and Mrs America Pageant 2011.
In 2009, Hong successfully organised the Mrs. World event in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Vietnam. She has spent years promoting the Mrs. World event in Vietnam and worldwide.
The award ceremony will be held on February 6 in HCM City. Other Mrs. World title holders over the years will also attend the event.
