The Thai women's beach volleyball team won the title at the Asian Women's Beach Volleyball Championships on April 29 in Tuan Chau, Ha Long, Quang Ninh province.
The Thai women earned first prize, while Vietnam came second and China finished third.
The tournament began on April 26 as one of the sports events at the Ha Long-Quang Ninh Tourism Week 2012.
Thirteen teams from seven countries and territories participated in the competition, including Thailand, Kazakhstan, Laos, China, and Vietnam.
