Falling outside the world top ten badminton players, Viet Nam's top player Nguyen Tien Minh will not be seeded in the men's singles event at the Djarum Indonesia Open.

According to Badminton World Federation (BWF) draw results, Minh will meet the host's Tommy Sugiarto in the first round. If successful, he will then meet the winner of a match between Denmark's Jan O Jorgensen and No 2 seed Chen Jin from China.
The tournament, held on June 12-17 in Jakarta, is a part of BWF Super Series Premier and has awards worth USD650,000.
After the tourney, Minh will compete at the Li Ning Singapore Open on June 19-24.
Being present at these important tournaments, the 29-year-old will have good opportunity to prepare for the London Olympics.
