Army wins National Best Sharpshooter Champs

Featuring 23 outstanding marksmen, the Army team has dominated the National Best Sharpshooter Championships which ended in Hanoi on June 27.

The team came first with 7 golds, 8 silvers and 5 bronzes, and was followed by the National Shooting Squad, then the Hai Duong team.
The tournament attracted more than 100 shooters from nine teams, namely Haiphong, the Army team, Ho Chi Minh City, Thanh Hoa, Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Vinh Phuc, the Public Security team, the National Shooting Squad and hosts Hanoi.
The men’s events included 50 meter rifle prone, 50 meter rifle three positions, 10 meter air rifle, 50 meter pistol, 10 meter air pistol, 25 meter rapid fire pistol, 25 meter standard pistol, 25 meter center-fire pistol, 25 meter pistol, 10 meter air rifle standard running target, 10 meter air rifle running target mixed, trap, double trap and skeet.
The women competed in 50 meter standard rifle prone, 50 meter rifle standard three positions, 10 meter air rifle, 25 meter standard pistol, 10 meter air rifle standard running target, 10 meter air rifle running target mixed, trap, double trap and skeet events.
