Quang Huy, the goalkeeper of Hai Phong club and a member of the national football team, battled with his teammate - Nigerian halfback Aniekan,
after being criticized by Aniekan for the two goals scored by Ninh Binh in the 2-2 draw match on March 7.

Hai Phong suffered the first loss at the 6th minute, but rebounded and scored two goals to take the lead 2-1. Ninh Binh then scored a second goal in the last minute.
Losing victory at the last minute, Aniekan immediately blamed Quang Huy. The goalkeeper angrily threw a water bottle at Aniekan. The Nigerian star returned with a kick to and received a kick from Quang Huy. It was very hard for the coaches and teammates to pull them apart.
Quang Huy, Aniekan and Coach Vuong Tien Dung refused to answer questions about the scandal. The coach stated that the two players must provide reports and the team would decide the fines.
Quang Huy joined Hai Phong in the 2010 football season after leaving Nam Dinh. He played for the U23 national squad and was the second goalkeeper on the national team. The Nigerian player is also a new face in Hai Phong. He played very well for Dong Thap team in the last football season. Neither have performed well in a Hai Phong jersey.
Hai Phong recently punished two players, Bat Hieu and Van Nam, for having fight during drills.
In the match against Hai Phong, an incident also happened when Ninh Binh's Brazilian halfback Rafael quarreled against his Singaporean coach, Robert Lim, when the coach accused Rafael of making a mistake that allowed Hai Phong to score.
