Nowadays’ thought-provoking painting exhibition will open on Friday at Gallery Mai on the third floor of the Art Talk Cafe, 12 Quan Su Street in Hanoi until July 14.

On display will be 20 oil-on-canvas pieces which are the latest experimental works and endless creativeness of Pham Tuan Tu, Le Thi Minh Tam, Le Chi Hieu, Nguyen Duc Hung, Nguyen Khac Chinh and Trinh Mien Tien. Visitors will witness human fate behind soulless mannequins, young ladies whirling in circles of sex, money and greed, games of war and death and cunning lies of people.
The meeting of six artists in ‘Nowadays’ will bring to visitors varied views and style in each work as they explore hot issues and problems in today’s society.
There will be an exchange with artists at the cafe.
