Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, Lieutenant General Tran Quang Khue received a delegation of Cuban veterans on Nov. 3.

The senior Vietnamese officer welcomed the Cuban delegation, saying he believed that their visit would contribute to strengthening mutual understanding and boost traditional cooperation and friendship between the Vietnamese army and Cuban revolutionary armed forces.
The head of the Cuban delegation said he hoped that the long-lasting traditional friendship between the two armies would be further consolidated.
